When a buyer first enters your home, make sure they feel welcome! Repainting the front door, cleaning the walkway or adding flowers can improve the attractiveness of your home. 

2. If it’s broke – fix it!

When walking through your home, create a checklist of everything that needs to be repaired. Do not give a potential buyer reason to walk away from your home. Some potential problems to check for are holes, leaking faucets, broken doors, missing or cracked flooring and broken switches. Most buyers are looking for a ready to move in home, so why not fix any small repairs to get top dollar! 

3. Staging

Staging can highlight your home and downplay any flaws you might not want buyers to see. Removing clutter and old furniture can help buyers picture what life would look like in your home. 4. Light

The best thing is to remove the problem and then freshen up your home. Pets should also not be home when showing the house to potential buyers. 

7. Depersonalize

By removing personal items and photos in your home, potential buyers will more likely be able to picture themselves living in your home.
