Creative Thanksgiving Tablescapes

Here are some Thanksgiving table settings and home decor to provide inspirations for you as you plan for Thanksgiving. The warmer tones and natural colours that come with fall provide such a stunning display of nature changing as we transition into winter.

1. Create a neutral colour scheme

A neutral colour scheme fits in well with most home decor styles, whether formal or casual.  A neutral palate also helps achieve a very natural look, if that is what you are trying to achieve.

2. Incorporate fruit, vegetables or herbs into your decor

There are so many fruits and vegetables that coordinate so nicely with fall decor.  Additionally, this can be an inexpensive way to achieve drama without breaking the bank.  They also add a nice texture and can be reused….bonus!

3. Use traditional Thanksgiving elements like pumpkins and turkeys

Be a little more traditional with some cute turkey and pumpkin elements! This can add in some great texture and the bright fall palette with orange, reds and browns.

4. Utilize natural elements that could be found naturally outdoors

Natural elements could include pine cones, antlers, cinnamon sticks, magnolia leaves, moss, feathers, leaves with changing colours or tree branches.

5. Use fall throws or blankets as a base for your table setting

Adding a cute fall throw or blanket can really pop your Thanksgiving table setting. It can bring in a specific pattern or colour to focus your decor around.
